Due to the continued success and evolution of **Downer Energy **, our **Electricity Networks **team are seeking a Fleet Manager to optimise planning, sourcing, acquisition, operations and disposal processes. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, this role sits within a varied technical team, improving efficiencies across an integral maintenance-focused program of works.

Duties Include:

- Optimise utilisation of plant equipment, service vehicles, accessories and subsequent maintenance schedules, upgrades, supplier relationships and budgets.
- Work with the Management team to establish a business plan for fleet and equipment requirements to fulfill contractual requirements and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain rapport with Delivery Managers and Field teams, strategically establish and implement chain of responsibility reviews, maintenance schedules and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and Report on plant and equipment suitability, cost, utilisation, maintenance requirements and provide insights to development and improvements to business Unit procedures.
- Ensure all tasks are undertaken to meet quality, safety, environmental, legislative and compliance requirements.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience within Electricity Networks highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated understanding of project compliance demands and challenges.
- Working knowledge of the Heavy Vehicle National Law.
- Experience managing fleet and plant equipment including managing maintenance and compliance requirements.
- Compliance and legislation at the forefront of all safety, strategy and decision-making processes.
