- Postdoctoral Researcher - Cheng Laboratory
- 24-month Fixed Term, Full Time Position
- 1RA6 - 1RA10
The successful applicant will be part of a small team to work on organ cross talk/ metabolism, or developmental neurobiology related projects in Drosophila. _This position is responsible for:_
- Conducting experiments with a careful and precisce technique.
- Accurately analysing and interpreting experimental results.
- Participate in and present research results in lab meetings and hubs.
- Developing good working relationships with others both within the laboratory and within the Research division.

- Basic Salary Range: $97,770.40 to $113,262.24 AUD

Skills required include a PhD (either approved or submitted and under review), with a broad base of molecular, genetic and cell biology techniques. The person will need to supervise students and technical staff in the lab. The person should have a strong background in cell/ molecular/developmental biology and /or metabolism.
