**About the role**:
Coordinate on-site teams to deliver relevant scopes of work in accordance with project plans and specifications to achieve effective performance in accordance with detailed short-term programs and schedules within the designated time and budget. Implement site safety, quality and environment control and identify and assess potential risks.

**Role - Responsibilities**

Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.

Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety and environment management.

Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.

Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.

Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager.

Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits.

Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide constructive review and implementing of final designs.

Ensure contractual mechanisms of subcontractors.

Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicate with and engage relevant stakeholders to control risk and contribute to build a risk management culture.

Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures.

**Preferred Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Trade Qualification or similar.**:

- **Demonstrated site-based experience with a Tier 1/2 head contractor in Australia.**
