Mechanical Draftsperson

Patch Personnel has been engaged by a global EPC contractor who plays a key role in Australia's Renewables & Future Fuels, Gas & Petroleum, Mining Services and Water sectors. A 6 to 12 month contract opportunity is available for a Mechanical Draftsperson to support the Engineering team in the delivery of a range of projects within oil/gas, hydrogen, and renewables sectors.

**About the Role**

Working within the Design team, your role will include:

- Production and issue of technical drawings (design and detailed drawings) for approval
- Perform drafting within scope of work supplied
- Develop workable solutions in collaboration with engineers, designers, and workshop staff
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competency level

**About You**
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma, or equivalent
- proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
- Experience drafting to Australian standards, statutory requirements and client specifications
- Previous experience within Oil & Gas is highly regarded
- Upholding the values of the company's safety, quality, and ethical standards
