An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Projects Draftsperson in our Sydney Office, located in Macquarie Park, NSW.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Draftsperson to join our NSW Majors Department. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee a team of draftspersons in the delivery of complex HVAC projects across multiple sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of detailed, accurate, and compliant technical drawings, while working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to bring innovative HVAC systems to life.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a drafting team to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery
- Develop precise technical drawings that align with industry standards and project specifications
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, site managers and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, applicable codes, local standards, and client requirements

Qualifications & Skills

- Proven leadership experience within HVAC drafting and project delivery
- Advanced proficiency in relevant software, including Revit, ACC Suite, and Navisworks
- Demonstrated ability to manage drafting teams and contribute to complex, large-scale projects
- A passion for emerging technologies that enhance efficiency, including BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools and workflows
- Committed to the highest professional, ethical, and quality standards in all aspects of your work
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a positive “fix-it” mentality, always striving to overcome challenges and deliver optimal outcomes
- Strong understanding of industry standards, construction methodologies, and compliance requirements
- You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including healthcare, transport, data centres, commercial, retail, and specialist mechanical services, with exciting current and upcoming projects.
