Our client, a not-for-profit organization based in Canberra offers an environment that is wonderfully warm and welcoming for families to reside in when their little love ones are hospitalised or receiving care. Their awesome, tight knit team are now looking for a Marketing and Fundraising Manager to join the them.

As Marketing and Fundraising Manager, your primary responsibility will be to connect with stakeholders to raise funds for the organization and to build and expand the client base. The main bulk of this is achieved through some amazing events throughout the year (which could be increased with your guidance) that also need assistance with the coordination and budgeting. So if you are someone with event management skills, this really is the role for you

To be successful in this role, you should be a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with stakeholders to build relationships and secure funding, so you should be comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. You should also be able to think creatively and strategically, and have a keen eye for detail.

Now, this is clearly a role where you will need to be out and about connecting with new and current stakeholders. Which means that you will need a drivers license to get about. There is no need to drive your car and use your fuel as there is one on site that is all yours to use.

Next up, experience. Well, if you have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, and at least three years of experience in marketing and fundraising, we'd love to hear from you.
