**Your new company**
Your new company is a leading provider of construction and strategic building maintenance services for the Queensland Government looking to expand their team in Toowoomba. There is currently an opportunity for a supervisor as a temporary contract. We encourage people from a construction or carpentry background looking to move to a supervisory position to apply.

**Your new role**
As the Supervisor your primary role is to assist in managing and coordinating project planning and delivery activities to maximise project profitability and ensure client satisfaction. The position will focus on ensuring the services provided meet quality and value for money expectations of clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Produce high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects and prepare accurate and timely estimates, quotations, and project trade packages, including material lists and construction programs.
- Provide a level of supervisory services in respect to the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade work undertaken by the company, including assisting in the planning and delivery of projects through the efficient supervision and development of office staff, field staff and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and undertake the delivery of a high-quality condition assessment services for clients, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials including collecting samples of suspected asbestos containing materials for laboratory testing.
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with current human resource practices and principles, including employment equity, anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety.
- Scoping maintenance and insurance, by visiting sites and taking measurements and estimations. These measurements and estimations would be used for contract drafting. Drafting quote proposals and sending the proposals across for quote costing.
