Accounts Payable Officer

**We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.**
**The duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Payable clerk can involve**:
- **Entering invoices into the accounts payable system**:
- **Processing payments**:
- **Filing and maintaining supplier records**:
- **Checking and verifying invoices**:
- **Preparing cheques for payment**:
- **Performing other ad hoc tasks as required by their supervisor**

- **Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles**:
- **Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records**:
- **Accurate data entry skills**:

- **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**:
- **Ability to work as part of a broader team**:
- **Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages**
**Salary**: $53,341.37 - $83,482.56 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
