Ancillary Networks Account Manager

**The opportunity
The Ancillary Networks Account Manager will be responsible for executing Bupa’s network and partnership strategies associated with its ancillary product offering. You will be responsible for implementing an elevated level of analytical and risk management strategies during the recruitment and management of ancillary providers contracted to Bupa. You will be based in our Brisbane or Sydney office, however, be required to travel throughout NSW & QLD visiting provider sites.
Working as part of a larger team, the growth in ancillary networks needs to ensure delivery of the best possible health outcomes for members at a sustainable cost to the business.
**This is a permanent full-time position which can be based from our Brisbane or Sydney offices when you are not working from home. (Bupa offers hybrid working and you can work from the office or at home)**
**How will I help?**
- Manage ancillary claims costs through network providers to deliver sustainable value to the customer and the fund
- Develop and produce risk management strategies, reports, and analytics
- Assist in the management of ancillary benefits through contracted network providers by:
- Securing and managing all aspects of ancillary service providers contracting across the NSW and QLD regions
- Collaborating where appropriate with a wide range of internal Bupa stakeholders and peers
- Executing Bupa's network strategies that are associated with ancillary product offering
- Implementing a high level of analytical and risk management strategies
- Managing the utilisation of networks by supporting customer initiatives to raise awareness
- Ensuring all growth of ancillary networks is in line with budget expectations
- Ensuring network providers are delivering contractual obligations
- Provide structured management of contracted ancillary partners
- As Account Manager, you will be the key contact for both Bupa people and allied health network providers:
- Work with local Bupa stores
- Meet with state-based associations
- Formulation of key industry relationships
- Assist with the development and production of business cases to support either new initiatives or enhancements to ancillary benefits

**What do I need?
This role may suit a Practice Manager or an Account Manager with exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills gained within the healthcare industry.
- A legislative understanding of the National Health Act, Privacy Act (Commonwealth), and other related Acts
- A current & valid driver's license as regular planned travel will be required with this role to engage with ancillary providers
- Previous experience managing ancillary providers and/or contracts will be highly regarded
- An elevated level of risk management and analytical skills, with proven forecasting and reporting ability
- Extensive experience in stakeholder relationship management strategy and execution
- Previous experience in liaising with external organisations/bodies such as professional associations
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving outcomes and deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Self-drive, who can quickly adapt to demanding environments and thrives when working as part of a larger team or autonomously
