**NOW HIRING | **We are searching for a talented and sales-focused Assistant Manager to join the wonderful and experienced team at this footwear boutique on Collins Street, Melbourne. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with our Store Manager to support the wider team with day-to-day operations, enabling the store to deliver outstanding, one-of-a-kind customer experience to the much loved and loyal customers.

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be a critical member of our in-store leadership team, overseeing the day-to-day operations and coordination of the team to ensure they run smoothly.

**Your role will include**:

- Maintaining and ensuring high standards of customer service are upheld by your team.
- Supporting the Store Manager with managing day-to-day store operations and administration.
- Leading by example to serve customers and provide each and every one of them with an exceptional shopping experience.
- Motivating and supporting the team on the shop floor to create a premium shopping experience for each and every customer;
- Driving KPIs and strong sales results;
- Managing the store on the days that the Store Manager is absent;
- Hands-on coaching and support of the team;
- Actively selling on the shop floor and leading by example;
- Merchandising and store presentation to ensure the store is presented beautifully to best showcase the product;
- Ensuring the stock-room is well organised and maintained;

**Ideally, you will have**:

- A friendly, mature, and positive attitude
- Self-motivated and shows initiative
- Strong knowledge of retail metrics and processes - 2+ years in a Team Lead or Assistant Manager role
- Fit and capable to select, move and arrange stock as required
- The definition of 'team player
- Proven experience in delighting customers and always going that extra mile
- A high standard and takes pride in their work/achievements
- Flexibility and solid availability
- Exceptional communication skills
