**Junior Data Analyst (4-Month Contract)**

**Location**: Melbourne
**Duration**: 4-Month Contract
**Office-Based**: Full-time (No Work From Home)

We are seeking a **Junior Data Analyst** to join our team on a 4-month contract. The role requires full-time attendance in the office.

**About the Role**:
In this role, you'll support data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive business insights. You'll be working in an environment where IT is a supporting function, with the focus on other core business areas. We're looking for individuals who thrive in smaller organizations where IT plays a secondary role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Gather, clean, and analyze data to support business operations.
- Generate and maintain regular reports on key metrics.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data insights.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis projects as required.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports.
- Work with **MS SQL** and **Oracle DBA** databases to facilitate smooth data migration and analysis.
- Assist with the transition of data from legacy on-premise systems to new solutions.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a similar **Data Analyst** role, ideally in a smaller business setting.
- Comfortable with **office-based work** for the duration of the contract (no remote working options).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as **Excel**, **SQL**, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a small, collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills to convey data insights clearly.
