Our overall aim is to support our Injured Workers to achieving sustainable Return to Work outcomes, and collaborating with Treating Health Providers to implement effective treatment plans to support injured workers to remain at work. Our current opening provides an opportunity to work specifically aligned with a large employer's claims portfolio at GB, and work in conjunction with leaders in the team to deliver a quality injury management service for our customers. **Responsibilities**: **Your responsibilities will include**: - Implementing your Personal Injury expertise in the review of complex medical requests arising from Worker’s Compensation claims - Collaborating with Case Managers and Treating Health Providers to review and make recommendations for treatment plans for injured workers based on medical advice and evidence - Liaising with Medical Advisors relating to specialised and niched requests for surgery and treatment to ensure Worksafe and industry guidelines are being adhered to as part of treatment requests - Advising employers, employer consultants and other stakeholders with updates regarding injury management strategies - Providing quality customer service to injured workers, employers, employer consultants & other stakeholders - Providing Injury Management expertise and advice, as well as coaching and mentoring to claims managers - Ensuring timely, educated and informed medical claims management decisions are made, with an objective to improve outcomes all parties involved.
