We have a full time, permanent opportunity for a Business Operations Specialist to join our team based in Port Melbourne.

**About the Role**:
In this role you will learn the tools and processes of Management Information Systems by working directly with the Senior Leaders in the Business and within the Business Operations team to set up an maintain the heartbeat of the organization. Your job will be to work with people across the organisation in different functions and disciplines including Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, Facilities, Finance, etc. You will proactively seek information from stakeholders and ensure the business and its leaders are getting the right information required to make business decisions. You will ensure the organization is meetings its commitments and deliverables to all external customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
- Create and maintain an effective operating cadence for reviewing business requirements
- Provides connectivity and information flow between Boeing Business Units, ensuring all deliverables are viewed and approved
- Tracks actions and resolutions to successful completion
- Creates digital transformation material and analytics for the business to run to
- Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
- Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning

**About You**:

- Bachelor degree is desirable, and/or relevant position with Project/Program Management experience
- Manufacturing and/or aerospace experience desired but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience in the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and ability to build rapport across all levels of the business
- Ability to understand the big picture
- Understanding of how to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal network; understands the cultures of organizations
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of project/program management is an advantage
