**Role Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard for café service.
- Assist in menu development with fresh, seasonal, and creative ideas.
- Plan, prepare, and execute catering for on-site events/functions.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Manage food stock, ordering, and storage.
- Work collaboratively with the café team to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with daily cafe operations (customer service & making hot beverages).

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a kitchen hand in a café or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with catering and event functions.
- Strong knowledge and accreditation of occupational food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
