Bachelor's of Nursing Students- Penrith

**Active Home Care Nurses** is seeking an experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) or Bachelor's of Nursing Students or Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic and multicultural team in **Mount Riverview, Blaxland NW 2774**.

**Position Details**:

- **Shift Duration**: 8 hours per day
- **Client Details**: A physically stable and active 54-year-old female with a tracheostomy.
- **Role Specifics**: Dedicated care for the same client daily.
- **Training Provided**: Comprehensive training on tracheostomy care and **paid buddy shifts** for seamless onboarding.

**Responsibilities**: Assist in delivering high-quality care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including:

- **Personal Care**: Showering, bathing, sponging, repositioning, pressure area care, skin care, hair washing, oral and denture care, and eye and ear care.
- **Toileting Assistance**: Support with toileting and related hygiene needs.
- **Mobility Support**: General ambulation, mobility assistance as per care plans, and reinforcing instructions for the use of mobility aids.
- **Comfort and Positioning**: Assist with positioning, posture maintenance, and ensuring client comfort.
- **Nutrition Support**: Set up and assist with meals and fluids, while monitoring intake.
- **Observations and Reporting**: Monitor and report on the client’s response to care, ensuring all tasks align with the care plan.
