**About the Role**:
The General Services Department at Dandenong Hospital requires two Environmental Services Assistants to work as part of our team performing cleaning.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Environmental cleaning
- Cleaning of floors surfaces
- Cleaning stairwells, windows, window ledges and other surfaces
- Bathroom and toilet cleaning

We are currently recruiting for the below positions:

- **Positi**on 1 Environemental Services General Cleaner**:Monday to Friday 1500-2300: 37.50 hours per week.
- **Position 2 Environmental Services Emergency Department**: Thursday & Friday 2300-0700: 15 hours per week.

**About Us**:
Our Support Services team provides a range of essential non-clinical services that help our hospitals run. We provide food services, central production kitchen, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.

**About You**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Holds a strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in your work with great attention to detail
- Has great time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks

What you need:

- Certificate III Cleaning Services _(Desirable)_
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- A high standard of demonstrated experience in customer service
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks
- Ability to understand, follow and implement written instructions and company procedures
- Excellent understanding of infection control procedures
- Basic to intermediate computer / digital skills
