We’re looking for a passionate and proactive individual to join our team in a dynamic P&C Coordinator role. The P&C Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and coordinating various HR activities at NIDA, from onboarding and staff development to performance management and inductions. They manage everything from employee relations to HR metrics and reporting, working closely with both internal teams and external partners. As a representative of NIDA's culture, the P&C Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the department while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) is Australia’s premier training ground for future leaders and practitioners in the dramatic arts. Located at Kensington in Sydney, it is a Centre of excellence in education and training. NIDA is unique in the world for its practice-based and industry-relevant training in the range that it offers which includes Acting, Design, Costume, Properties and Objects, Technical Theatre and Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Writing for Performance, Directing and Cultural Leadership.
**About The Role**
The role includes managing the P&C inbox and helpdesk queries, assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding, and handling contract management. They ensure accurate record-keeping, prepare reports, and update policies and procedures. The role involves fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a positive workplace culture, organising staff benefits like yoga and social events, and supporting professional development initiatives. They also ensure compliance with WHS requirements and provide top-notch customer service while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
**About You**
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines, and be detail-oriented, with the ability to organise workflows efficiently. Experience with HR systems, like Qualtrics, SharePoint, or Kronos, as well as data management and electronic records systems, is a bonus but not mandatory. We value strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field—or relevant work experience—will be beneficial, but we’re open to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
