**About you**:
Join our team in a group HSE role, on a variety of Pensar’s SEQ projects. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person looking for accountability and diversify in complex construction.

We are looking for a highly competent and committed HSE Manager who demonstrates in ensuring all safety requirements are implemented and fulfilled across a number of construction projects. You will develop and manage all health, safety, environment initiatives and strategies, whilst supporting and guiding operational staff through HSE improvements. You bring energy and experience but also new ideas, innovation and a growth mindset.

You are team-focused, self-motivated and get great results via effective prioritisation of tasks and time management. You are known for your accuracy, commercial acumen and good understanding of the safety aspects that strengthen a successful construction project. You are passionate about your work and are fully accountable for the results achieved, being excited by the prospect of adding value to our diverse business.

**What you need**:

- Tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience in safety management
- ICAM Investigator and RRTW qualified preferred
- Minimum 4-5 years experience working in a construction HSE management role
- Experience with ISO45001 principles is desirable
- Coaching and mentoring employees on safety protocol and procedures
- Drive safety best practice across projects through systems, training, consultation, and auditing
- Advise on and contribute to the development and implementation of HSE milestones and goals
- Provide leadership on and promote safety culture initiatives within the project team's
- Robust knowledge of construction legislation and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills - able to coordinate Project Management team's and lead safety teams in ensuring all project undertakings are in line with the project HSE plans
- Willingness to travel outside SEQ, if required
- Able to interact and support a diverse team of skilled trades and subbies, adding value with everything "safety" related
- Commitment, energy, and drive
- Excellent and above average I.T and Administration skills and capacities
- Report, document, and identify actions as necessary, and ensure they are implemented
