**Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist looking to provide procurement functions to our Federal Government clients?**

**Vertical Scope Group** are looking for **highly skilled** and **committed** Procurement Specialists to join our award-winning consultancy team We offer a range of employment options **including permanent, casual**, or **contracting.**

As a Procurement Specialist, you will perform a range of both simple and complex procurement functions including tender preparation, evaluation, contract formation, negotiation, and selection. You will also be responsible for providing timely advice, as well as reporting and resolution of complex issues.

**Your Key Responsibilities...**
- Exercise established commercial acumen to effectively expertly and proactively Manage, and establish ICT and other contracts
- Provide advice and guidance on contract management to internal stakeholders in line with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) and the PGPA act.
- Building and sustaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Managing approaches to market in obtaining quotes and tenders.
- Assist the department in meeting its statutory obligations by collating and creating procedural, governance and procurement documentation
- Provide analysis and judgement on complex issues and make significant contributions to the preparation, evaluation and finalisation of the procurement processes

**About you...**
- Relevant qualifications and/or industry certification eg: Diploma of Government, Certificate IV qualification in Procurement or equivalent
- Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of the PGPA act and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR)
- Experience in procurement and/or contract management functions within a Government department
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Minimum Baseline Security Clearance

**Salary**: $120.00 - $200.00 per hour
