**Your new role**
In this new role as an Assurance Assessor, you will be undertaking assessments of payment integrity and provider performance measures. The deliverables include conducting accurate and timely assessments of employment services, provider records and related documentary evidence submitted to the department, to confirm compliance within the relevant guideline and Deed requirements Your primary responsibilities are:

- Provide broad administrative support
- Ability to quickly comprehend Deed and Guideline requirements
- Accurate assessment and recording of data
- Undertake tasks of moderate complexity and work effectively under general direction

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in an administration or assurance role, ideally within the APS. You will also need to demonstrate accountability for completion of allocated tasks, be able to self-start, organise and review own work. This role requires high levels of attention to detail with excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to complete tasks within tight timeframes.

To be successful in this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have relevant experience in Government Department and / or in a similar position. You must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
