An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced IT Platforms Manager to join our IT team based in Rhodes, Sydney. In this role, IT Platforms Manager will support Business/IT streams to decrease the complexity of collaboration between the Business and IT. Will act as principal contact between multiple Business Stakeholders (Function, Market, GMB, CoS, etc.) and IT stakeholders through the products/platforms and services lifecycle.

The Market IT Platforms team is responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure for all Factories, Distribution Centres, Head Offices and Sales Offices across the Oceania market. This includes but is not limited to: VMWare/Hyper-V hosts, HPE servers and SANs, Cisco/HPE Aruba LAN/WiFi, Video conferencing and Unified Communications.

**A day in the life**

Reporting to the Head of IT, Oceania, key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
**Relationship Management**:

- Deep understanding of functional Business objectives, processes, governance and challenges and build strong relationships with Business key stakeholders.
- Proactively share the Business requirements/insights with IT, secure the required IT resources and brings the right capabilities/services to the table.
- Lead regular interactions between both organisations to inform and maintain a continuing good relationship and a shared vision.

**Value Delivery**:

- Regularly attend the receivers meetings and becomes part of their extended functional team.
- Make the link between specific business objectives, activities, initiatives, projects or programs and IT in order to identify, forecast and deliver multi-product group integrated value.
- Steer the integration and adoption of solutions between receiver and product group / platform roadmaps.
- Efficiently manage CAPEX/OPEX spend & Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

**Governance**:

- Participate in the IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options.
- Support the business governance processes.
- Input into the vendor/partners delivery scorecards (global vendors) or manage governance with local market vendors.

**Innovate/Deploy**:

- Leverage Partners where possible to ensure Nestle resources continue to focus on 'Business Value' generation and to maximize return on investment.
- Integrating 'Local' & 'Global' innovation initiatives that solve market business needs.

**Support/Sustain**:

- Prioritize issues and escalations on behalf of receivers.
- Provide insight into business disruptions caused by major incidents (P1/P2).
- Coordinate crisis management and communication during P1/P2 situations.
- Provide input into market impacting outage/releases/cutovers.

- Create alignment and the adoption of our IT Vision to Life (IT V2L), lead by example, promote an open culture and our values in a sustainable way, promote innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Empower and enable people, give and receive feedback, evaluate and differentiate performance, constantly challenge the set-up organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably Computer Science or field related to the product.
- Demonstrated experience in a product-based IT organization.
- 7+ years’ experience in IT (e.g. BA, PM, etc.)
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global matrix environment and with virtual teams.
