Uncle is a busy modern Vietnamese restaurant in the Paris End of Collins St. We are currently looking for a full time bartender to join our FOH team. The nights aren't late, the mornings aren't early and the job is fun

Uncle is a busy modern Vietnamese restaurant in the Paris End of Collins St. We are currently looking for a full time bartender to join our FOH team as we make moves to build up a team for the upcoming busier months. The nights aren't late, the mornings aren't early and the job is fun

The right Bartender suited for the position at Uncle should be ready to make the move into an environment that has never been this exciting in this forever changing industry. One that is respectful to staff and finds the right balance of work and life to be enjoyed harmoniously (after all happy staff = happy guests, right?).

An understanding of stock control would be handy but not necessary and some experience behind the stick regarding cocktails, beer, spirits would be a massive advantage. You should have a strong knowledge of working in a fast-paced restaurant bar or bar.

You'll work closely with the Venue manager and a small team, maintaining the level of quality that customers have come to expect.

We are looking for someone who is - reliable, honest and has a passion for all things in wine and cocktails. You will be required to run the bar solo (ie. with back bar help).

What we are looking for in you:

- Local beer/wine/spirit knowledge
- Cocktail knowledge would be an advantage
- Ability to work unsupervised
- History of working in a fast paced/similar style of restaurant
- A strong focus on consistency with attention to detail
- Uses initiative and creativity
- Great attitude with a passion for our industry
- And a regular all-round Hospo gun
