**Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- ** Develop and Empower the Team**:Support the DC Manager in leading and building the capability of the DC team to consistently meet both internal and external customer expectations.
- ** Own the Daily Operational Execution: T**ake full accountability for delivering the “Day of Operations” work and labour plan, while ensuring clear, concise communication with key stakeholders across the business.
- ** Lead Performance with Integrity**:In partnership with the SRG HR team, take the lead on DC performance management processes, ensuring full compliance with legislative and internal standards.
- ** Manage Labour Spend with Precision**:Be accountable for the DC’s day-to-day labour budget, clearly identifying and communicating the drivers of any variances from the plan.

**About You**:We're looking for a passionate and experienced DC Operations Manager to join our team, lead the way in our fast-paced environment, and prioritize the safety of our people.

**In addition, you will have**:

- ** Proven Leadership in DC Operations**:Experience as a DC Operations Manager in a Retail or 3PL environment, with a track record of effectively leading operational teams
- ** Strong Commercial Acumen**:Solid understanding of labour models and the associated cost impacts on operations
- ** Tech-Savvy and System Ready**:Proficient in WMS platforms (Korber preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- ** Committed to Safety and Compliance**:Deep understanding of hazard identification, incident management, and investigation processes
- ** Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)**:Up-to-date understanding of CoR legislation and compliance requirements
- ** Continuous Improvement Mindset**:Exposure to Manufacturing Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) methodologies
- ** Decisive and Effective Operator**:Strong operational decision-making skills with a focus on efficiency and results
- ** Relevant Qualifications**:Tertiary qualifications or Certificate in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
