Jump was founded with the specific purpose: to create a better opportunity for babies, infants and children to learn to swim in a clean, modern and private indoor facility away from the crowds and distractions of the bigger learn to swim centres. Combine this with small class sizes, warm water and a teaching program supported by our 3 pillared teaching philosophy of Prepare, Instruct and Praise, you will help lead a team delivering the best learn to swim model to allow children to progress and enjoy their learn to swim journey.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Manager who is looking for a rewarding and fulfilling role to join us at Jump Swim Schools Point Cook and Hoppers Crossing. You will be required to help lead a team to deliver quality lessons to infants, toddlers and young children. You must hold a current First Aid certificate and Working with Children Check with AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia qualification highly regarded.

This role can be either part time or full time (negotiable)

**Essential**
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in employee supervision
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check

**Desirable**
- Austswim or Swim Australia accreditation (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to make independent decisions
- Ability to manage small teams
- Familiarity with HR structures
- Experience in;
- Highly developed problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: $39,000.00 - $46,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
