The Medical Science Liaison role is to engage with key external and internal stakeholders of Ipsen to deliver non promotional and scientific medical expertise to improve quality use of our medicines and drive scientific leadership.

As a key team member to the medical team, you will
- Foster medical and scientific exchange with selected thought leaders (TL) on topics of mutual interest, including scientific and medical data and disease area management
- Respond professionally to unsolicited requests from external stakeholders regarding scientific and clinical information
- Collaborate with the cross functional team to ensure insights from the field are communicated to inform medical strategy
- Provide ongoing training and development of internal stakeholders to enhance therapeutic area and product knowledge

You will bring to the role
- A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Bio-Medical Science or Science is essential to the role
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role with a proven track record as an MSL professional in a previous company (ideally with oncology experience)
- Knowledge of the TGA, PBS, the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medicines Australia Code
- Proven experience of critically appraising clinical evidence, and an ability to assimilate large volumes of data
- Ability to collaborate and share information to contribute to strategic plans
