Medical Science Liason

**The Opportunity**

CSL Seqirus has an exciting opportunity available for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our in-licensed pharmaceutical cardiovascular team.. In this field-based position, you will be responsible for providing medical & scientific information for the cardiovascular therapy area/. You will engage and build strong relationships with key external medical experts; gathering insights and facilitating knowledge exchange knowledge translation and data generation.

You will identify and map Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific networks, and where appropriate, health consumer organizations, fostering relationships to provide medical and scientific information to both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the realisation of medical affairs objectives during the peri-launch stage of a key CV product. You will facilitate peer-to-peer education to ensure knowledge transfer and scientific understanding, collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and shape future strategy and drive scientific/clinical knowledge through medical activity execution, training and through insights gathering and sharing. You will facilitate the consideration of proposals for collaborative and investigator initiated studies and speaker development and involvement, participate in Scientific and Medical symposia and assist with the development of CSL Seqirus’ sponsored programs.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Medical Lead (CV) you will develop collaborative and respectful relationships with internal stakeholders; credible and durable relationships with health care professionals (in particular key opinion leaders) and other relevant external stakeholders.

**Your skills and Experience**:

- Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, Ph.D., M.D., MPH)
- 3+ years relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience as an MSL and/or cardiovascular therapeutic area expertise are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to;
- Efficiently analyse and interpret complex clinical data in a new therapeutic area / new indication
- Clearly communicate scientific findings on complex matters in a group or individual setting
- Manage projects developed in a field-based environment, while exhibiting the ability to prioritize, provide oversight, demonstrate excellent judgmental skills and work in a continuous improvement environment.
- Work within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to foster strong CSL Seqirus/customer professional relationships and which are aligned with CSL Seqirus business objectives.
- Maintain self-awareness and continually choose behaviors and responses based on how it impacts one’s own and others’ performance and engagement.
- Demonstrated clinical and technical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly adopt and utilise new digital technology and other resources with medical customers and record medical interactions
- Compliance with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding CSL Seqirus/customer interactions and relationships, etc.
