**The role**

Based in Sydney, NSW and reporting to the Team Manager - HazMat, you will deliver a wide range of services to our clients such as asbestos and hazardous materials inspections, air monitoring and risk reporting.

You will be supported by a team of high performing technical experts, work on interesting projects and grow and develop your skills; we invest in our people through training.

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Conduct Asbestos/Hazmat audits in diverse locations including commercial buildings, industrial facilities and residential properties
- Conduct airborne fibre monitoring during Asbestos/Hazmat remediation projects
- Compile technical reports detailing results of Asbestos/Hazmat investigations
- Provide great service and support to our clients

**About you**

Ideally, we are looking for an Asbestos/HazMat Consultant with experience in conducting asbestos and hazardous materials inspections, airborne fibre monitoring and preparation of asbestos and HazMat reports.

If you have experience as an Asbestos Removalist and looking to advance your career and become a licensed Asbestos Assessor, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for you to have:

- The ability to undertake field, laboratory and office work
- A current unrestricted driver's license
- The ability to wear fitted respiratory protective equipment
- The ability to work autonomously in the field and with a team in the office environment
- Tech savviness including the ability to use iPad data collection tools
- A willingness and ability to learn new systems, processes and tasks
- High attention to detail
- The ability to travel to regional and national locations as required

Whilst not essential, an Asbestos Assessor license or willingness to acquire one would be beneficial.
