**Our client, a prominent player in the global energy sector, is currently seeking an experienced Grid Connection/Commissioning Manager to join their team. This role holds significant importance in ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy projects into the grid while overseeing the commissioning process.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to strategise and oversee grid connection activities for renewable energy projects.
- Spearhead the formulation of effective grid connection strategies, guaranteeing alignment with pertinent regulations and standards.
- Manage the permitting process and liaise with local authorities to secure essential approvals for grid connection.
- Direct the commissioning process, encompassing rigorous testing, systematic troubleshooting, and validation of system adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a close partnership with project teams to preempt and mitigate potential grid integration and commissioning obstacles.
- Foster robust relationships with grid operators, utilities, and stakeholders to facilitate efficient grid connection processes.
- Provide adept technical guidance to troubleshoot any emergent challenges during grid connection and commissioning phases.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures, prioritising safety throughout grid connection and commissioning endeavors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and technological innovations in grid integration and commissioning.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of pertinent experience in grid connection, commissioning, or related domains within the energy sector.
- Demonstrate a profound grasp of grid systems, electrical codes, and regulatory prerequisites.
- Showcase a proven track record of capably managing grid connection and commissioning operations for renewable energy projects.
- Display adeptness in steering multiple projects concurrently, underpinned by strong project management competencies.
- Exhibit effective communication skills, both verbal and written, adeptly liaising with multifaceted teams and stakeholders.
- Possess a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, adeptly making informed decisions even under demanding circumstances.
