**About the role**

Estate Services perform an effective maintenance service that provides a safe environment for high quality patient care. The Electrical Technician is a key member of a discrete multi rectification maintenance works to achieve a high standard of performance within the Estates service.

**About you**

As the Electrical Technician you will be a licensed electrician with demonstrated extensive electrical maintenance knowledge and experience. You will also have strong communication skills, be costumer and stakeholder focused and will utilise your technical knowledge to prepare reports, convey ideas, contribute to the implementation of technology enhancements and updates as well as having the ability to explain technical information and concepts to non-technical uses.

**_To be successful in this role you will have:_**
- A valid Electrical license issued by the Electrical Licensing Board.
- Demonstrated extensive experience within an electrical maintenance position in a large and complex environment.
- The ability to communicate with other teams and areas to coordinate broader work outcomes.
- Awareness of the need to balance responsibilities to the organisation, customers and a wider stakeholder network.
- Listens to and appreciates the views and needs of partners and builds harmony and consensus through the diplomatic handling of disagreements.
- Experience preparing reports based on work related knowledge.
- The confidence to conveys ideas and information in a clear manner.
- Desire to continuously build knowledge and stay informed with the professional/technical procedural aspects of the job.
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
