As a Journey Expert Chapter Lead (Product) in the Run and Improve squad your squad mission is to be experts on Retail & Business Products, ensure we do things right the first time and execute on our well managed activities. You will understand how our customers interact with their products, supporting optimal customer experience and improve processes while delivering outcomes.

As a leader in the Deposits Tribe you will be expected to contribute to the development of the Tribe strategy and drive initiatives that uplift the product management capability of the whole Tribe.

You will use your product management experience to identify and implement robust solutions and successfully manage and embed deposit product related changes. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure business and customer impacts have been considered, whilst bringing your problem solving and analysis mind set to help the bank support best practice change management.

On top of the squad work, you will also lead Journey Experts and guide them on “how” to work. You will be responsible for their professional development supporting their capability and mastery. You will leverage your exceptional interpersonal skills to coach and mentor members of the squad.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Existing functional experience or expertise in leading one or more of the following disciplines: Product management, Business Analysis or Change Management.
You will have experience in building and embedding innovative product management capabilities that become adopted as best practice.
You have a record of delivering on time and budget with different project delivery methodologies and internal governance frameworks.
Exceptional leadership skills with a growth mind set at your core, with the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others
You have experience and understanding of Banking Products / Product Management and how changes can be implemented.
An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do whilst optimising customer journeys and experiences.
Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate.
