**Position Information**:
Hunter Sports High School is a partially selective public high school with 900 students. The school is one of the newest and most modern schools in the state, offering a unique state-of-the-art learning environment that caters for both academic and sporting excellence.

As a member of the Waiyarang Community of Schools, we welcome students from local schools including Windale, Wiripaang and Mt Hutton Public Schools. Our school also caters for students with special needs with four dedicated Support Unit classes which includes IO, AU, IM and ED. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach Japanese years 7-12
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability in building a culture of high expectations and strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to support student outcomes.
- Demonstrated capacity and commitment to developing innovative, engaging teaching programs and assessments to meet the individual needs of a diverse student body.
- Proven capacity to integrate project-based learning, technology, and ICT to create a dynamic language curriculum.
