Position Information
The 2025 staffing entitlement was 65 teachers and 16 non‑teaching staff. The school has a close partnership with the local Kuriwa AECG to enhance Aboriginal cultural programs for all students and staff to address the needs of Aboriginal students. It is committed to student wellbeing through a diverse range of programs and a wellbeing hub. Students participate in leadership, social awareness programs and student voice opportunities. The school has strong sporting traditions and a celebrated creative arts program. It partners with the Terrigal Public School and Erina Heights Public School, forming the Terrigal Learning Alliance for continuity of learning from kindergarten to Year 12.
Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Japanese and Spanish.
- Experience creating accessible, innovative learning environments to enhance student engagement.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisation skills to build positive relationships with teachers, students, parents and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to differentiated teaching and learning strategies to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
