
Program Manager, Communications

NSW Government Agency is looking for a Program Manager - Communications & Engagement to develop and implement project-specific communications programs and stakeholder management plans throughout the project lifecycle. The role is responsible for all interactions with stakeholders, specific business liaison in the project areas and internal communications strategies.
**The Role**:
- Provides strategic advice and guides the project team in the activities relating to communication programs and the realisation of the program benefits, developing recommendations for the Executive Steering Committees, managing resources and priorities to budget, and driving continuous improvement and quality control activities within the project team.
- Develops, leads and implements sustainable change management initiatives for the communication and engagement program of works.
- Establishes and maintains communication channels and feedback mechanisms at key points in the program cycle (specifically, program initiation, design, implementation and evaluation).
- Builds, maintains and fosters relationships within internal and external agencies, industrial bodies and their representatives, and other key stakeholders.
- Provides and maintains project and change management expertise to the development of communications and stakeholder engagement strategies. Provides strategic advice to the internal executives on communications and engagement initiative
- Provides sound project management to all aspects of the communications including stakeholder liaising, attending the project meetings, and maintaining project reporting and records.
**About you**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area like marketing, communications or similar and/or an equivalent in experience.
- Experience across Community Engagement, preferably across health and/or corporate services contexts.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills.
