ACT Travel Survey Face to Face Interviewer - Canberra, Queanbeyan and Palerang

**About the Role**
Ipsos, is conducting the ACT Travel Survey for the ACT Government.
In order to make the project a success, **we are looking for a team of committed casual field interviewers**. In this role, you **will be responsible for the placement and collection of self-complete Travel Surveys for the ACT Government around the ACT region including Queanbeyan-Palerang for 8-10 weeks from early October**.
**Paid training will be provided on the 5th October**, and there will be potential for high achievers to be trained in supervisory positions.

**Requirements**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- To be available to work on weekends
- To have a mobile phone, current driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- To be fluent in English
- To be confident and comfortable to approach households to introduce the survey
- To have good communication skills
- To be well-presented and reliable
- To be comfortable using smart devices (e.g. tablets)

Field or Census interviewing experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided**Benefits**
- **$33.84 per hour** for fieldwork; Eligible travel time paid at **$33.84 per hour**:

- Kilometres travelled paid at **$0.91 per km**:

- Once experienced, enhance your skills by assisting in coordinating and supervising the fieldwork from the office
