The **Pakenham Community Mental Health Team** provides an effective and comprehensive service to the Monash Adult Mental Health Program. **About the Role**
The Social Worker Grade 1 Mental Health Clinician position is a permanent part time (0.8EFT/4 days per week) entry level position designed to provide a supported introduction to Social work within the Adult Mental Health Service. This clinician will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality assessment, intervention and consultation. The Grade 1 clinician will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of assessment and intervention skills in community settings plus discipline specific assessments. The incumbent will be supported in their learning through education, supervision and through working in partnership with more experienced clinicians.
The Grade 1 clinician will actively facilitate groups, and provide care coordination and liaison with family/support systems. Case-loads will be graded and matched to the growing expertise of the Grade 1 clinician.
**What You Need**:
- A recent qualification to Bachelor or qualifying Masters level in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership of relevant discipline professional body AASW
