Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant and available to start work on 2nd of September?

We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Production Maintenance Assistant who enjoys a variety of tasks within a manufacturing environment. Our client is based in Landsdale.

This role is on a casual, ongoing basis from Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Hourly casual rate is $35 p/hr.

Some duties include:

- Action preventative maintenance to agreed schedule and coordinate external resources
- Action corrective maintenance tickets as required to agreed service level
- Conduct general building maintenance including gardening
- General housekeeping, waste management and adhering to 5S principles
- Provide support to the Assembly team; assemble product to issued production documentation and safe work instructions

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- Experience with hand tools and small air / power tools
- An understanding of workshop manuals
- Ability to follow written procedures
- A can-do positive attitude and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft packages
- Holding a current drivers licence
- Holding, or the ability to hold, a forklift licence
- Holding, or the ability to hold, working at heights, licence
- A willingness to work overtime
- Hold valid Australian working rights
- Can pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Hold a current drivers licence and have reliable transport

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

- Trade assistant: 2 years (required)
