**The Role**
As the Merchandise Assistant your responsibilities will be to support a team of three experienced Business Managers. Role responsibilities include price file system administration, catalogue and data integrity, Intranet administration, reporting and product range administration. Coordinating product allocations, new range setup and competitor web price scraping.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will be able to a demonstrate a record of achievement in a similar role preferably in an environment of transformation or major change. Ideally you will have a passion for automotive, if you're into your cars then Auto One is a great place to work. Alternatively, you may have gained experience in similar roles within the electrical, general merchandise, building products or hard goods industry. Your background will also include:

- Exposure in a support role to aspects of the merchandise function, including buying, sourcing, product development, promotional execution, supplier management and merchandise planning.
- Results driven, you are an effective communicator, able to demonstrate strong planning skills and initiative and above all, close attention to detail.
- Ideally you will have tertiary business qualifications and sound office PC skills.
