Mobile Maintenance Coordinator

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will primarily be accountable for the safe and efficient execution of all mobile maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for:
Implementation maintenance strategies to ensure that the equipment life cycle is maximised
Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with planned timeframes, quality requirements, operating efficiencies and value adds
Manage and coordinate work crew and support team activities by setting performance targets and allocating appropriate resources for completing all the maintenance works safely and efficiently.
Provide focused and effective leadership, support and coaching to Supervisors in managing the work crews to deliver a high level of performance safely and management of the workforce.
Conduct regular meetings with the supervision, assets, HSE and site services to promote and develop positive working relationships through open communication and shared cooperation.
Develop and implement effective programs and strategies to continuously improve work execution safety and efficiency as well as reduce maintenance workload and unscheduled downtimes.
Develop ongoing relationships with contractors to lead them with focus on quality workmanship, productivity and effective teamwork under dynamic conditions
Develop and allocate work scopes from equipment inspections
Ongoing reporting and measurement on maintenance progress with regards to asset availability, work management and contractor efficiencies
Lead an effective and engaged team with structured development plans
Provide technical support in relation to plant and equipment
Manage and maintain drawings, specifications and ensure that any modifications meet statutory requirements and manufacturer SOPs
Develop, plan and implement strategies for maintenance improvements which are cost effective and produce optimum results
Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports within the required timeframe
Be actively involved with site inspections and the assessment of all the associated risks. These include but are not limited to the risk to health and safety, the commercial and technical risks, and the industrial and employee relations risks.

**Requirements to be successful in this role are**:
Mechanical Trade Cert
Cert IV Maintenance Management
Section 44 Appointed Training
Demonstrable experience in Mobile Maintenance and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar leadership capacity
High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Project and the office suite, Pronto or similar maintenance management system experience.
Excellent planning skills and an ability to understand work at a detailed level.
Concise verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience developing individuals with mínimal experience at apprenticeship levels to Senior Maintenance levels.
