**Outside School Hours Care Coordinator - Pascoe Vale**
**$33 - $38 Per Hour + Generous Allowances**
**The Opportunity**
Extend has a very exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who has a love for children, education and leading a team.
Extend children at **St Oliver Plunkett Primary School** in Pascoe Vale are looking for someone to play, teach and take care of them in a safe learning environment at Before and After school Care.
Are you our next Educator to lead and create an inspiring and engaging team?
**The Role**
As a hands-on, passionate and motivated Educator, you will lead and manage a team but also work autonomously. As part of your role, you will provide effective leadership that encourages a positive workplace culture and builds an exciting program and service for your team and the children to enjoy.
You will implement and maintain a high-quality service. This involves developing a relationship with the children, families, principal, school leaders and their communities and always providing outstanding customer service.
As a central member of the team, you will plan, deliver and promote quality activities for children which are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value. You will also uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times.
You will actively play fun games with the children and support the children’s individual learning and development by managing observations, program planning and reflections.
Your amazing, fun and engaging program will help grow attendances at the Extend service.
**General Work Hours**:
- Monday to Friday
- Before School Care 7:00am - 9:00am
- After School Care 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Holiday Program - up to 6 hours per day
**About You**
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Critical reflection experience
- Enthusiastic and personable
- Thrives in a team environment
- Preferred availability - 5 days per week
**Pre-requisites (completed, willing to obtain or we can help you get qualified)**
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or studying towards) or equivalent
- A current Employee Working with Children’s Check
- HLTAID012 or higher First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training
