**Quaker Oats** team in
**Forrestfield - WA** has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
**Warehouse Operator** to manage the finished product stock in the warehouse, out loading finished product stock and meeting the scheduled customer orders in an efficient & timely manner.
The hours for this role are
**2:00pm - 10:00pm** Monday to Friday,
**no weekend work **however may require flexibility to adapt to 12hr shifts (overtime) when necessary.
**You Will Be**:
- Operating a forklift in a busy warehouse
- Ensuring accuracy of dispatches and record keeping.
- Ensuring that only finished product that has been checked and approved by Quality Control is outloaded and manage any product that is placed on hold.
- Receiving, identifying, and maintaining packaging materials.
- Maintaining warehouse hygiene to ensure preservation of stock, compliance with GMP standards and prevent infestation by pests or insects.
- Safely & efficiently pack sea containers, local market orders and stockfeed pallets.
- Maintaining operational equipment including forklifts and pallet racking.
- Assisting Production staff where necessary to deliver team outcomes.
Qualifications:
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- Current counter-balance forklift ticket.
- Minimum 2 years current forklift experience
- Experience in slip-sheet loading of containers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond and adapt to regular changes in plan due to unforeseen and unpreventable events - e.g. production issues, container availability, product holds.
