**The Role**

Avila College seeks Expressions of Interest for a part time, fixed term** Pastoral Care Worker, funded under the National School Chaplaincy Program (NSCP). **The successful applicant will need to integrate their skills and experience into the existing College working program and structure.

NSCP’s minimum qualification requirements are either:

- Certificate IV in Youth Work
- Certificate IV in Pastoral Care
- Certificate IV in Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care
- an equivalent qualification (as determined by the state) that must include competencies in mental health and responding to client needs (incorporating making appropriate referrals).
- Avila College is close to public transport and offers onsite and permit street parking. _

**Applications close Friday March 17 at 12noon and will be processed upon receipt.**

The successful applicant will need to provide evidence of:

- eligibility to work in Australia
- Employee WWCC or current VIT registration
