As a LAME you will be responsible for the leadership, supervision and coordination of the activities in the assigned area to ensure that work is completed, efficiently, safely and on time and to ensure customer expectations are met across the QantasLink Dash 8 Line Maintenance operation in Brisbane.

You’ll be required to:
- Hold a current CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence on Dash 8 100/200/300/Q400 aircraft in the Mechanical category/ B1- Aircraft servicing experience on various turboprop aircraft in a line maintenance environment- Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of LAME's that will carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with QantasLink safety standards, procedures and the Civil Aviation Regulations- Perform and certify maintenance tasks as directed in accordance with the Maintenance Control Manuals, Aircraft and Component Maintenance Manuals and the Procedures Manuals- Liaise with Maintenance Watch whilst rectifications are being performed. (Providing accurate time estimates for rectifications and regular updates as time frames are revised)- Assess aircraft defects, rectify and defer as applicable- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of ground support equipment- Commitment to being a customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required- Sound communications skills, both written and verbal with exceptional attention to detail
