**Junior Quality Assurance Tester - Australia**

OCR Labs is an identity verification software company that has developed world leading digital identity verification technology. We’ve built everything from the ground up and have a broad range of blue-chip customers across banking, telecommunications, government and more. We’ve perfected the technology in Australia and New Zealand and are in the process of rapidly expanding the reach of our industry leading technology globally.

We are looking to improve the operations of our business through the recruitment of a Quality Assurance Tester who will work with the quality assurance, product and delivery teams to test and evaluate new and existing features to identify and help remove bugs, glitches and other user experience issues.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Execute test cases under varying circumstances
- Work as part of the quality assurance team in testing both new and existing features
within the software platforms to ensure they are working as expected.
- Document and evaluate test results
- Detect, log, and report program bugs and glitches
- Track defects and help troubleshoot errors
- Participate in regular meetings to report on results and plan upcoming tasks

**MUST HAVES**
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Good team working and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and solid analytical skills
- Intermediate technical skills in using mobile devices both iOS and Android and desktop
- Willingness to learn new skills with guidance such as testing webhooks

**NICE TO HAVES**
- Experience in using JIRA to view and update testing tickets/requirements.
- Experience using Figma
- Strong analytical skills to assist in documenting and solutioning technical requirements.
- 1 year of experience in software testing
- Experience using postman to test APIs

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
