**AJQ Consulting is a leading provider in the delivery of Information Technology & Professional Services.**

We now have an immediate requirement for and Automation Test Analyst / Quality Assurance Tester to join the AJQ Delivery Team to assist on a project in the government sector focussed around their CRM solution

**The main responsibilities will include**:

- Developing a strategic test plan and articulate the test plans for project deliverables.
- Working with business analysts and engineers to describe testable business features and co-ordinate testing of features.
- Developing functional automation tests using test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
- Ensuring automation testing standards are met
- Understanding the scope of work in each sprint / release and directing automation testing efforts to the areas of most risk.
- Automating functional and regression testing scenarios and executing all levels of testing (system, integration, and regression).
- Providing quality assurance signoff for each release, identifying testing coverage, gaps and other potential risks.
- Conducting manual testing when required.
- Configuring continuous integration jobs and related scripts for over-all test scenario orchestration
- Scheduling and reporting of automated test runs.
- Understanding agile methodologies such as Scrum and assisting with the management of the task backlog.
- Assisting with the documentation and development of new features

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Coding skills in Java and C#
- Skills in creating parallel cross-browser automation tests
- Skills in creating CI/CD pipeline for automation tests
- Knowledge of system performance testing and penetration testing (desirable)
- Experience in utilising UI automation tools.
