Since our establishment in 2020, we have built a reputation for excellence and now, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Store Assistant Manager to join our team in Westfield Penrith.

Al Sultan is more than just a cultural cafe and gift store - it's a luxurious experience we aim to give to everyone that will leave them feeling like royalty, the Sultan. We strive to spread love, kindness, and happiness to all by making our treats accessible to everyone that is both delicious and nutritious.

As the Store Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with our Store Manager, assisting in organising, planning, and implementing strategies for smooth store operations, and setting the stage for your career progression.

You will be responsible for performing the following duties:

- Providing excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Overseeing and supervising daily cafe operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinating with the team to maintain high-quality service standards and customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in managing inventory, stock control, and replenishment of cafe supplies.
- Handling cash transactions accurately and maintaining proper accounting procedures.
- Assisting in training and developing cafe staff to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
- Assisting in visual merchandising, ensuring an attractive and inviting cafe ambiance.
- Contributing to driving sales, achieving KPIs, and identifying opportunities for business growth.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a cafe, retail or hospitality management role is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Barista skills or a willingness to learn and be trained in coffee preparation.
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work 3-4 days a week, including weekends and occasional evenings.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
