**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**Location**: Bankstown, NSW
As our Reconciliation, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer, you will be at the forefront of shaping a more inclusive and equitable workplace within our Australian Public Transport Division. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you'll develop and implement strategies that drive our commitment to reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion. Collaborating closely with recruitment, customer experience, and communications teams, you’ll lead impactful programs, manage key initiatives, and ensure our practices align with best practices and legislation. **PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES**:
- Actively promote and embed a culture of reconciliation, diversity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Design, execute, and evaluate RD&I strategies and programs, including the corporate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and LGBTQIA+ initiatives.
- Facilitate formal and informal training for staff and managers to enhance awareness and understanding of diversity issues.
- Analyze workforce data to support reporting requirements and measure the impact of RD&I programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including diversity and ATSI partners.
- Oversee and manage RD&I projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational plans.
- Prepare reports and briefings for senior management, providing insights and recommendations on RD&I matters.
- Collaborate with various groups to develop inclusive transport services and improve staff training on customer needs.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Proven ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced skills in managing complex network, scheduling and efficiency projects
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ensure personal safety and health while preventing any adverse effects on the safety and health of others at the workplace.
- Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and rules; use personal protective equipment as required; and maintain and care for issued protective equipment.
- Promptly report injuries and accidents, correct hazards where possible, and collaborate with management on safety and health matters.
- Engage actively in safety and health programs and activities to promote a safe working environment.
**Job Specifications**:
- ** Communication Skills**: Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company staff, external bodies, and the general public.
- ** Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- ** Report Writing**: Proficient in preparing detailed reports and creating PowerPoint presentations.
- ** Data Management**: Skilled in using the Hastus System for reviewing and managing large datasets, including timetabling, scheduling and rostering
- ** Technical Proficiency**: Skilled in using Scheduling software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
