QA Production Support

Job Description:
This role supplies continuous hands on support to production team, for all non-conformances in real time with direct supplier communication, vendor recovery, stock adjustment and production efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure compliance to the Terex Australia policy, procedures and work instructions, documented quality system, and all OH&S procedures, policies and work instructions. In addition, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.- Comply with safe work practices & procedures, ensure a thorough understanding of the responsibilities in fire evacuations and other emergency procedures is maintained whilst ensuring correct clothing & PPE is always worn. Report all potential safety accidents or near misses.- Update and maintain appropriate Failure, Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) requirements. Open RN’s as required and achieve appropriate requirements.- Provide Production support as required, respond to all Technical/Quality related issues.- Generate all RN in FRACAS system from production non-conformance online in production (Hands on role based in Production).- Adhere to Production hours (including breaks and any other scheduled times)- Inspect, investigate, and quarantine all potential non-conforming stock in all stores and production areas.- Control quarantine parts (make sure all parts are tagged, labelled correctly and placed incorrect area).- Parts inspection process through performing inwards goods parts inspection as required, inspect all store and production parts as required and inspect and approve all reworked quarantine parts in-line with quarantine process.- Support the Production assembly team as required, including undertaking all ad hoc tasks.- Attend daily production and business meetings as required.- Carry out SWA as per schedule.- Participate in workshops and toolbox meetings as required including participation in “On the Job” training and where required assist in training other team members.- Any other tasks as directed by the Quality Manager. Ensure compliance to the Terex documented quality system, policies, procedures, work instructions as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.

POSITION QUALIFICATION

Education / Training- Minimum completion year 12 - secondary school.

Experience / Skills:
- Manufacturing operations experience is essential.- Encourage teamwork and common goals within a team.- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.- Good numeracy and accounting skills.- Flexible, with strong teamwork orientation.- Ability to work well under pressure.- Strong commitment to safety, quality and productivity.- Commitment to learn Lean principles.
