**Our Team**

We’re excited about the continued growth our organisation is experiencing and as such we are on the hunt for an experienced Test Lead to be a part of our Policy Platform team, who are responsible for managing our Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter implementations.

**The Role**

As a Test Lead you will analyse and implement solutions, solve complex problems, and provide test leadership to assure the quality of the solutions being built. You will work closely with Project Managers, Iteration Managers, Analysts and Developers, as well as other members of the platform and project teams, and key business stakeholders.

To be successful you will lead and drive initiatives for the QA team to help improve the current QA processes and will play a role in mentoring junior team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operationalise testing strategies to deliver the desired test outcomes for the team
- Write and manage regression test cases
- Deliver on UI and API Automation testing
- Develop and continuously improve test ‘ways of working’ and test engagement practices in collaboration with members of your own team as well as with various stakeholder groups
- Continue to expand and create the platform test automation framework and test assets
- Resolve and isolate issues in test automation
- Contribute to the quality and completeness of platform’s test assets and other artefacts
- Provide mentoring to other test analysts as required, under the direction of the manager

**Skills & Experience**
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar Automation QA Testing role
- Exposure to agile test automation framework
- Experience in planning, writing and executing test cases in agile software delivery teams
- Proficiency in the use of a BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework based on Cucumber
- Experience in using automation tools such as Selenium and Capybara for UI interfaces, Mongoid for data handling, contract testing, etc.
- Programming expertise in Ruby and Java
- Ability to coach and mentor team members and foster an engaged team environment
