Moreover, this is your chance to be part of the success story.Position SummaryMust have hands on experience in Guidewire (any suite), Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, WebservicesMust have experience in writing Gunits/Junits and increasing the code coverageMust have experience in practicing Business Driven Development techniqueAnalyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutionsParticipates in business workshops and provides solutions on technical changesEstimates the work effort and review the effort from other developers in the teamWork with Customer side Technical Lead and Architect for technical guidancePrepare the technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes. Share technical inputs on the dependencies with other integration work streamsCompletes design, develops code, unit tests code, documents and deploys code into the appropriate environmentEstablish best practices, and guidelines for development. Ensure team adheres to the best practicesMentor and help other technical developers in the teamCo-ordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teamsParticipate and provide technical inputs/guidance in defect triage meetingsHelp BA's and Testers with the technical demo sessions presented to businessCreate knowledge base documents and hand over the changes to production support team.Mandatory SkillsCandidate should have 6+ years' experience in Core Java, REST API technologiesCandidate should have at least 4+ years experience in GuidewireCandidate should have good P&C insurance experienceRoles And ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of code as per the requirement and engineering practices, unit test and provide support to all testing phases.Work with Guidewire Out of the box core functionalities and features in latest versions to compare and provide better solution.Lead the scrum team which consists of Guidewire development, Tester and BAMake sure review the Jira cards time to time and track for closureSupport BA and Tester for Elaboration and support technicalReview the team deliverablesConduct stand upParticipating customers Discussion for getting technical requirements.Support more than one team technicallyQualifications/Certifications (Optional)Minimum B.E or B.Tech or MCA4+ years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center and at least should have a Guidewire professional certification.Insurance industry knowledge with work experience in Claims and financial modulesSalary Range: >$100,000Date of Posting:09-Sep-25Next Steps:If you feel this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant is the type of organization you would like to join, we want to have a conversation with you Please apply directly with us.For a complete list of open opportunities with Cognizant, visit Cognizant is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunities.
