A service based in The Basin is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 16.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance
The standard shift times are below however they may vary depending on service needs and can also be flexible depending on your requirements. You will be guaranteed 16.5 hours per week.
Monday - Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00AM (Rise then Shine)
Monday - Friday 3:00 - 5:30PM (Stay and Play)
About the role
Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years: Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA Australian work rights
